5 Quick fun facts about me!

1. My home and my family are my happy place! My fiancé, Gavin and our two dogs, Maverick and Jasmine, are my peace and joy!

2. I love the Lord! Jesus teaches me daily how to love and serve people even more. I am grateful to know Him and to serve His people (you!!!). 

3.My favorite foods are sushi and Mexican food! A salmon roll or a big ole plate of pollo loco make me a VERY happy gal!

4. Adventuring to new places fuels my soul! I love any opportunity to travel!

5. I'm a goofball! I love to laugh with you, it takes a lot to embarrass me, and at the end of it all....it's really brings me so much joy to meet new people, get to know them, and make memories with you!

I’m a  fun, passionate, andexperienced professional photographer based in East Tennessee! I’ve lived here my whole life and I have grown to love my Great Smoky Mountains so much. I am a lover of travel and adventure and I am blessed to have a job that allows me to enjoy that even more! If I had do describe my photography in three words I would choose vibrant, timeless, and authentic!

 

I've always been a photographer since my childhood. I used to set my stuffed animals up and take family photos of them for fun so...needless to say this is my DREAM JOB! I've always valued photos. I love being able to look back at my memories and soak in the life I’ve been living! There’s something so intimate about stopping time and capturing a memory. This is why I dedicated my life to photography. 

 

In May of 2020 I graduated from Carson-Newman University with my Bachelors Degree in Photography and a minor in Business Administration! During my four years at CNU I spent three of them as the Darkroom Technician of my art department and two of them as the president of CNU’s art society.  I am very passionate about art and the way it allows me to express myself. My photos were also published multiple times in my college career and I won my department's Visual Arts Award my senior year!

 

Photography truly is my passion. It’s the gravity that holds my world together and without it I’m not really sure where I’d be.  It allows me to connect with people and serve people in my favorite way possible. I fell in love with photography because it touches my heart in the deepest ways possible. It lets me step into moments of time and stop them forever. I believe photos are one of the most important things we can have, because one day they will be all we have left. 

 

When the wedding day is over and your celebrating your 50th anniversary, when the babies are all grown up, when that loved one has passed, when you  unexpectedly had to drop everything and move across the country, when you can’t even remember your graduation day, when your baby boy brings a girl home for the first time and you can’t wait to show all his embarrassing pictures…..these are the moments that inspire me so much to serve my clients.
