Here are some FAQs you may have and some helpful tips and tricks! Please contact me with any other questions you may have!
How do I book a session with you?
To book a session with me you can contact me on here, text, or Instagram! These are the places I will respond to the fastest! There is contact info on my 'About Me' page! Just tell me more about what you're looking for and we'll start planning!
What happens after I book a session?
After we choose a date and time for your session I will send you a booking link via text and email! This link will contain your contract and questionnaire!
What is the questionnaire you send me?
In your booking link there will be a questionnaire! Each questionnaire has been made specifically and uniquely made for each kind of session! It will include questions about you and your wants/needs for your session! This allows me to prepare for our session and get a better vibe of you!
What should I bring to my session?
You are more than welcome to bring any additional props or accessories you'd like to! If you're wanting to include any large props such as furniture let me know ahead of time so we can choose an appropriate location. However props like signs, food, drinks, clothing accessories, and basically anything handheld are totally fine!
What if I don't know a good location?
I can definitely help you find a great location if you don't have one in mind! I'd love to hear more about what kind of session and vibe you're going for and we can discuss location options from there!
Do you edit the photos?
Yes! The photos will be edited by me. I don't outsource any of my photos so every photo will be made with love by me! I do not provide any RAW (unedited) images to my clients.
Am I allowed to edit the photos from my session?
No, all creative rights remain with Jessi Quillen Photography. There is more information about this in the contract. Clients are not allowed to add any filters, presets, body modifications, etc. to the images from our session. If you have any concerns with the images please contact me! My main goal is to provide photos you LOVE!
How will I receive the photos from our session?
You will receive the high resolution photos in a downloadable, online gallery! I will show you during out session how the gallery works to minimize any confusion when you receive your gallery!
How many photos will I get back?

What if the weather isn't good?
If we are able to reschedule or re-locate to an indoor location we totally will! If it's for an event or wedding and we aren't able to re-schedule then we'll make the best of it! I do have clear bubble umbrellas we can incorporate! I'm a firm believer in adventure and winging it so we'll still make some magic if we're not able to reschedule or re-locate!
What should I wear?
Wear something cute but that you will be able to move and walk in comfortably! Wear something you feel confident in too! Definitely wear something that's very YOU! And if all else fails wear neutrals! I'm happy to offer inspiration and advice for your specific session so feel free to reach out!
Do you travel for sessions and weddings?
Yes! I LOVE to travel! Please take me on an adventure! There will be a travel fee based on how far I'll have to travel and if I have to stay overnight or not. Message me and we'll discuss the details so I can let you know what the travel fee would be!
What if I want to do a boudoir session but don't want my photos shared?
This is ABSOLUTELY okay! Your comfort is my number one priority! Each boudoir client chooses whether they want their photos shared or not and what photos can be shared if any. You don't have to release any of your photos if you aren't comfortable with that! There is more info about this in your boudoir questionnaire!
What are my release options for my boudoir session?
Each client chooses the release they are comfortable with. The options are: No Release, Faceless Release, Limited Release, and Full Release. There is more information about this in your questionnaire! Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have!
What happens to the boudoir photos I choose to release?
If you choose to release some of your boudoir photos then that basically means I am allowed to share them on social media and my website if I want to. So any boudoir photos you see on here or on my social media are photos that the models have chosen to release. I am not allowed to share any boudoir photos that have not been released by the model.
